Analysis: Carter was been the replacement for Keenan Allen when the veteran missed snaps in Week 1, and in this game against the Texans when Allen was inactive. It's unlikely that Carter will see regular targets when Chicago's top three receivers are healthy. However, when called upon to play significant snaps, Carter may be a useful possession receiver.

Targeted twice in opener
Carter hauled in one of two targets for six yards in the Bears' 24-17 win over the Titans on Sunday.
Analysis: In addition to returning five punts for 64 yards and one kickoff for 67 yards, Carter also saw time in the wide receiver rotation. With two targets, Carter had the most targets of any Chicago receiver aside from DJ Moore, Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze. The Bears signed Carter to a one-year contract Tuesday.
